Severe Thunderstorm Risk Tonight

The National Weather Service is warning the area tonight of the risk of strong to severe thunderstorms due to a strong low pressure system that will move across the area.

There’s also a strong low level jet stream mixed with very cold air at higher altitudes that will add the risk of very strong winds, large hail, and even a tornado.

Expect heavy rainfall (1 to 3 inches) and make preparations today.
