The good news is that Trinity, Florida is for the most part a safe zone for all but the severest of hurricanes. As you can see in the image below, only the western edge is in the purple zone (Level E) which would require an evacuation from storms with 34 foot storm surge potential (Hurricane Katrina had 25-28 foot storm surge).
